A few "Good Things"

So many books, so little time. Sound familiar? Knowing how precious time is and how many books there are, I have decided to publish Lisa's List of Good Books on my website. These are books that I have read and highly recommend.
I will continue to add to this list, so be sure to visit often. Here are a few of my current favorites:

Transparency: How Leaders Create a Culture of Candor by by Warren Bennis (Author), Daniel Goleman (Author), James O'Toole (Author)

The timing couldn't be more perfect for this book. I've noticed that the word bailout has become part of our day-to-day conversation. That said, we need to examine the who, what and why's of what is happening so we learn - and we need to embrace transparency so we don't repeat.

A Whole new Mind: Why Right-Brainers Will Rule the Future by Daniel Pink (author)

If you ever get a chance to hear Daniel Pink present, you are in for a real treat. I heard him speak at the University of Minnesota this past June. He was fantastic. His messages in person and in print are so relevant!

Hot, Flat, and Crowded: Why We Need a Green Revolution--and How It Can Renew America by Thomas L. Friedman (author)

Tom Friedman's book, The World is Flat, was on my "Good Book" list for 2007. This book is definitely one of my favorites for this year.
