| From the Desk of Steven Chandler | |
Happy New Year to all. I know the crux of my past messages have been economy oriented, but I truly feel that we have turned the corner. We are seeing more traffic in showrooms, people are getting excited about remodeling again, and quoting is running rampant once again. I feel we are on the up tick once again.
As I come to the completion of my term as your President, I can only thank all of you whom I have had the opportunity to "reach out and touch. " I have had a wonderful term and have enjoyed every minute of it. To this end I thank all of the members of the Northern New England Chapter for their support and enthusiasm throughout the past few years. I also have had a tremendous amount of support through my Board, to which I extend my sincere, heartfelt thanks.
I will continue to enjoy attending future meetings as a non Board member and enjoy socializing as a "civilian" once again.
Steve Chandler
Immediate Past President:
NKBA, NNE |
| An Evening at Gerrity Stone | |
Attendees to the November NKBA NNE Chapter meeting were treated to facility tours and a demonstration of the technology employed by Gerrity Stone (photo above shows digital templating in action). Although the night proved to be wet and stormy, there was a very large turn-out. Many thanks to Gerrity Stone for the warm tent and hospitality! Thanks also to co-sponsor, Green Demolitions.
The 2011 NKBA NNE Chapter Officers were announced and the 2010 Board members were recognized for their excellent work this past year. At left, 2010 NKBA NNE President Steve Chandler presents a service award to Chapter Rep, Phil Rothschild. A big thank you to all of the 2010 NKBA NNE Board Members for all of their time and dedication.
