The Hull of the Sunlight III
 Dear  Loyal Customer,

Today Matt fished for Silvers on the Northern side of Bellingham Bay, about a half mile west of Squalicum Harbor.  Bruce and Matt left Friday Harbor around 1:00 a.m. so they could get the "good spot."  Fishing was slow until around noon when the tide started to flood.  They were fishing in the shallow waters and Matt was walking around in chest waders picking fish directly from the net.  They brought home 60 beautiful fish for your dish so come by the shop around noon.  Don't forget to forward this email to a friend or call your friends and neighbors.  Matt gets more sleep when you help us sell our fish!

p.s. the photo above is the wooden hull of the Sunlight III, Matthew's beloved Bristol Bay Boat.  This boat was built  in 1967, the same year Matthew was born.
A couple of you think we are going to be there by 10:00 a.m.  This has turned out to be simply not true.  We are going to laze around a bit in the a.m., go for a walk, and then get a move on.   I just wanted to put in fine print that I apologize in advance to those of you who come by and I hope you read this email first.  Remember, you should always read the fine print.

Seriously sincerely,

Maureen Marinkovich

p.s.  I am still cracking up about Jusin Halpern's Twitter page.  To be honest, the language is really bad, but it is such a gut-buster that I get sucked in every day to see the new quote from Sam, his 73-year-old father.  This is seriously funny stuff and if anyone else is completely devastated by the barricade at the overflow ferry parking lot, then check out this twitter page to assuage.

p.p.s.  If you are just reading this email and you fear it might be too late to snag a silver, check out matt's blog.  Look in the upper-right-hand corner because I am twittering the absolute latest on the coho quanity.  I will let you know how many we have left.  Sometimes they go fast and sometimes they linger.

p.p.p.s  Feel free to pause and use your emergency flashers.  Just park right there by the shop.  Of course, it would have been much SAFER to use the EMPTY overflow ferry parking lot but apparantly instead of sharing and being flexible we have to gaze upon an asphalt desert.
