Fish Available Wednesday, August 19, 2009
Matt caught thirty pink salmon (Humpies) and they are available Wednesday (August 19th), noon, at Compost It. Matt thinks this is just the beginning of the run because many of the fish were males and they come at the bginning of the run. Pinks are $7.00/each.
Matt also caught about five King (Chinook) Salmon; although, he is at this very moment in Sammish Bay fishing so maybe by tomorrow there will be more. In the meantime, if you are having a special gathering or having a wedding or funeral, then call me. We will try to dole the fish out in some delicate manner to our beloved customers and hope everyone is okay with that. Kings cost $8.00/lb.
We also have frozen sockeye fillets available that Matthew brought down from his Alaska catch so there should be something for everyone. There will be more fish to come, of course, as we go along.
