A Message from our Outgoing President

Dear PRSA Members & Friends:

Kathy Saenz

One of my favorite quotations by Eleanor Roosevelt is: "You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing you think you cannot do."

Serving as your Chapter President has afforded me the opportunity to grow professionally and take on responsibilities I could have never imagined. Along with the support of a stellar Board of Directors, we were able to keep the Chapter moving forward - providing numerous educational programs and welcoming some new faces to the organization.

I want to thank everyone on the Board for your guidance and for providing such wonderful ideas and input; also, to our members and those who frequent our monthly meetings, for your support.

It is now time for me to pass on the gavel to our President-Elect Denyse Mesnik who will lead our Chapter this year. She's no stranger to PRSA, a founding chapter member in fact - and quite a delight to work with. The full slate of officers and directors is available below for your review.

In closing, I challenge each and every one of you to get more involved with PRSA and our Gulf Coast Chapter this year... make that commitment to attend our monthly meetings and expand your knowledge, maybe even consider taking on a leadership role, as I did. What is that thing you think you cannot do? Identify it - and do it!

Best,

Kathy Saenz
