Great news from the Weigand Trust!
Greetings!
The last couple of months have seen a flurry of activity for our Weigand Scholars!  During a time when jobs have never been harder to find, we have spectacular news to announce as our Weigand Family continues weaving into the fabric of the Kansas legal community.  Congratulations to everyone, and best wishes in your new jobs!

Aimee recently began working for the Social Security Administration in Kansas City.

During the last two years, Aimee had worked for the Shawnee County Counselor's Office in Topeka.

Richard Budden
Richard will begin his two-year judicial clerkship for the Hon. Thomas J. Marten (Wichita) in early September.

Sarah Burch
After two summers with Foulston Siefkin, Sarah was offered post-graduate employment and accepted.  She'll begin next fall.

Dominic Eck
Dominic recently began his full-time legal career at Foulston Siefkin in Wichita.

Mark was awarded a two-year judicial clerkship with the Hon. Eric Melgren.  

He previously worked for Martin Pringle in Wichita for three years.  
Meghan McEvoy

Meghan McEvoy
Meghan's post graduate employment took a sharp turn when she was awarded a two-year judicial clerkship with the Hon. Carlos Murgia in Kansas City just days before the Bar Exam.   Fofllowing her clerkship, she has accepted a position at Seigfried Bingham in KC.

In addition to her full-time duties as a labor judge for the Kansas Dept. of Labor, Laurel is co-teaching a class at Washburn Law School this semester:  "Domestic Violence and the Law."

Joel has relocated to New York to pursue his LL.M. in Taxation at New York University.  Following his year in the Big Apple, he's accepted employment with Foulston Siefkin in Wichita.

After spending the summer as an associate at Seigfried Bingham in Kansas City, Kendra has accepted their offer for post-graduate employment.

Joan Schneider
SGT Schneider was recently mobilized to active duty in the Army at Fort Stewart, GA for a year.  She's working as a paralegal for the Special Victims Prosecutor to help support sex crime court martials.

Ryan recently began a one-year judicial clerkship for the Hon. Reed O'Connor, U.S. District Court.
