Pauly Scores BIG! Eric Pauly is awarded prestigious scholarship at NYU!
Wichita, KS - Eric Pauly, Weigand Scholar (2006, 2007, 2008) and 2008 Washburn Graduate, was recently awarded one of the top honors NYU gives to domestic graduate tax students. In addition to the honor of serving as a graduate editor of the Tax Law Review, a large portion of his tuition will be provided. The Tax Law Review (TLR), the premier law school journal for tax policy scholarship, is one of the few faculty-edited journals in the legal academy. Under the current leadership of Professor Deborah Schenk, Editor-in-Chief, the TLR publishes articles and essays by leading legal academics and practitioners as well as noted economists. The journal annually awards merit scholarships to six or seven tax students who serve as graduate editors, assisting the faculty editorial board.
Pauly is pursuing his L.L.M. in Taxation from NYU. Upon completion, he has accepted a position with Foulston, Siefkin in Wichita.
Andrew Nolan, chair of Foulston's recruiting committee applauds the award as well. "Eric's receipt of a Tax Law Review Scholarship is a true testament to his hard work and academic achievements. We will all benefit from the knowledge, contacts, and expertise he brings back to Kansas."
