Come join the 8k training team for the Suntrust Richmond Marathon HCA Va 8k race in November. This 8-week training will take place each Saturday at 9:00am with clinics and workshops each week, which will prepare you for your race. Feel free to walk or run with us each week and learn some great tips to help you improve your pace.

The YMCA preschool will take its first field trip this month to Greenhand Farm on October 18th & 19th. The kids will take a hay ride and pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch to bring home.

| FAMILY FALL FESTIVAL | |

On Sunday, Oct 30th from 12-2 p.m. at Lower Methodist Church, bring your family and friends for a free community event that will be the best of the fall season. Lend your creative hand to craft making, soar in our moon bounce, take a scenic hay ride, have your face painted like a pumpkin and enjoy a free cookout and s'mores for dessert! On Friday, October 28th from 7 - 10 p.m. at the Middlesex Family YMCA, bring your family and friends for a night of food, games and prizes. Roulette, Black Jack, Poker? Paper, Rock, Scissors, Hot Potato, Bay Blades? These games are just a sampling of events offered on this wonderful evening aimed at providing fun and excitement for the WHOLE family to enjoy.
