BRIGHT BEGINNINGS

Every child deserves to start school with confidence.  Bright Beginnings ensures that children in need are able to start the school year off right with new school supplies, shoes and clothes.  Volunteers and children shop together in an outing that leaves everyone feeling fulfilled.  This program has grown from serving 50 children in 2001 to over 1,000 in 2010.

SPECIALITY  CAMPS

 

YMCA Gymnastics Camp will be held August 8th-12th from 4:00 to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. 

 

Children gain strength, agility and poise by practicing the fundamentals of tumbling and gymnastics.  This program provides an opportunity to see the potential your child has as an aspiring athlete.

 

Children ages 6-14, Cost is $40 members/$60 program participants.  Please contact the YMCA at 776-8846 or email Cheryl.Holleran@peninsulaymca.org.

 

 

YMCA Soccer Camp will be held Aust 15th-19th from 5:00-7:30pm Monday through Friday.

 

Children will learn skills to further enhance their abilities.  Take it to the next level and learn some new skills. The cost of the program is $30 memberss/$50 program participants. Please contact the YMCA at 776 8846 or email Kai.Evans@peninsulaymca.org.

 

 

SCHOOL-AGE CHILD CARE

School-Age Child Care registration begins this month!

The YMCA School-Age Child Care program provides an environment where children can easily make friends, be a part of a group, meet physical challenges, and know that they are liked, respected and appreciated.  The children also participate in IGNITE (Interactive. Games. Nutrition. Inspiration Through Education), homework program, games, free time, character development time and lots more fun. 

Registration is held at the Middlesex Family YMCA, 11487 General Puller Highway, Hartfield, Virginia 23071 during branch hours.

 

To register, please bring copies of: school physical (must be within the past 24 months), shot record, and originial birth certificate. 
  
Ages 4 years 9 months to 13 years old
Weekly Sessions June 20-August 26, 3:00pm-6:00pm
Members:$40/week
Program Participants: $48/week
