Thanksgiving Day Poll 

  "Bikram on a Budget" NEW Class Time!

 Come take class at NOON on SATURDAYS! This class will be by donation so all are welcome!  

 
A great opportunity for the budget conscious student. Current unlimited members are welcome to practice at this time too! If you are on a class card package, you can choose to have your class deducted from the package OR you can pay a donation drop in rate.
 
(Limited to first 45 people that show up. Suggested donation $5-15.)

HeidiShare your story and inspire others


We are currently creating a new and redesigned website! Our greatest hope is that this site become more interactive and that you, our community, gets a voice! Yoga student and blogger, Heidi Houser, will be aiding in this vision. She will be spending the next few months collecting your stories: why you love Bikram Yoga, what brought you to the practice, how you have changed, what you do for a living, etc. If you are interested in sharing your story please contact Heidi at hlahouser@gmail.com. Heidi hopes to help inspire everyone's practice and create community through offering stories of you journey with Bikram Yoga.

   In just a few days October will have passed and we will be well into the beautiful fall and winter months. Crisp mornings followed by beautiful sunny days! There is something so sweet about the post yoga glow and deep breaths taken just outside the yoga room after a cleansing, detoxing and invigorating hot yoga class!  You ever notice how enhanced all your senses are after class? Your water is so much sweeter, the leaves seems so much brighter and the air feels exceptionally clearer. In fact, it just seems easier to LOVE all of life.

   It is well known that a most beneficial way to create and inspire one's own life begins with gratitude and love. Wake up in the morning and just as your feet hit the ground send a prayer of thanks to the universe. In doing so you charge an acceptance field and you become an active participant and creator in your life. This is a beautiful image, but I am under no illusion that this is an easy thing to remember to do. I have at times thought that if I forgot to my morning moment of gratitude, that all is failed for the day. But alas! It is never too late! There are countless  moments in every day that we can be thankful and connect to the universe. It does not have to look a certain way, or happen in a particular setting. You can take a moment while you are waiting in line at the grocery store, it can happen when stuck in a traffic jam, it can even be when you are in the middle of a particular challenging yoga posture! And, it can even happen RIGHT NOW!
Thanksgiving Day is just around the corner and it is a wonderful day to connect with family and friends. Many families take a moment to hold hands and each member has a moment to share what they are grateful for. In this virtual setting, I would like to hold your hand and tell you how grateful we are for each and every one of you. You inspire us each day and you make it easy to serve. We are extremely grateful for your time and shared energy.

Posture Review Workshop 
November 19th, 1:30-4:30pm

Join Adi and Janet on Saturday November 19th, 1:30-4:30pm for an in depth look at the yoga postures practiced at BYA. We recommend taking class directly after at 4:30pm in order to practice what you just learned. This will be a great workshop for ALL LEVELS! Whether you are in your first week of practice or you have been taking classes for years, you will most definitely learn a tremendous amount. You will get one on one assistance to guide you into better alignment and you will be able to ask many questions. Adi will demonstrate all the postures and Janet will discuss the many medical benefits of the 26 asanas and 2 breathing exercises. If you are working through an injury this will be an ideal time to discuss modifications and ensure you are practicing with the best possible form.

Beginning Tuesday November 1st, the 9:15am class on Mondays and Wednesdays is switching to 8am and 10am.
 
On Saturday we are adding a special "budget friendly" class at noon!
 
Additionally, the 6:30am class on Wednesday will be canceled until further notice.
