Greetings!
Summer is here; time to start planning for it to be over! Back to school specials are only a couple of months out. Now is a great time of year to add a register to an existing system, or to expand out to a second (or more!) store or add space to an existing store.

Selling Online
One question we frequently get is regarding methods to export your inventory for adding to a commerce website. There are a few options for this, depending on your method of listing.
First, if you're working with a developer for a custom solution for your website, the easiest manner to get your inventory from the system is a full tab-delimited data file. From the invoice screen, go to tools -> data export -> inventory to text file. This file will include all inventory information, including pricing, stock levels, descriptions, and so on.
Second, if you're using Fillz, which can assist in listing on many sites such as Amazon or Ebay, there is an export tool available that will create a file for you to use with this. (This file can also be used with Amazon directly.)
Finally, in future development news, an API is planned for pulling current stock levels out of stores.
