Greetings!

It's the time of year for catching up on your business' accounting, and for you to set the foundation for improving your sales in the year ahead.  We're going to show you some new hardware we have for sale that can improve your performance, as well as going over the ESC Label Utility, a program designed to print out a lot of barcode labels at once.
Bixolon SRP-350plus
The upgraded version of the SRP-350, Bixolon's latest offering offers additional printing speed, as well as USB and ethernet interface versions.  Perfect for stations needing the fastest print speed possible, the SRP-350plus also has all the logo capabilities of the base 350 model.

Extreme Point of Sale, Inc, is proud to offer Samsung/Bixolon products, and the SRP-350plus and SRP-350 are both available from us.  This month only, when mentioning this newsletter, you can buy the SRP-350plus at the SRP-350's normal price, $299.
ESC Label Utility

The ESC Label Utility comes with Musicware, Extreme POS, and Praiz, and can be launched from the program group in the start menu for your program.

This program allows you to mass print labels, either off of a search or from purchase orders.  It will load default settings from your database for the label printer.

When you first run the program, you will need to select the server for it.  This will be the same as your server for your main program.

There are three basic options for choosing which products to print labels for, which you select from by clicking the radio button next to the one you wish to use.

Inventory file, which allows you to do a search on your inventory in the same style as lookup searches from within ExtremePOS and print the results (or, alternatively, leave the search fields blank and then print your entire inventory).

Purchase Orders, which allows you to print out labels for a specific PO.

Or Labels Queued from ExtremePOS HQ Store, for our HQ Corp/Store users using HQ Corp/Store for updating pricing and items.

There are two basic options for quantity of each label to print;  you can print the instock quantity, either new in stock or used in stock.  Otherwise, you can print a specific number of each label.

When you're ready to print, hit okay.  This will bring up the normal label printing screen with a few new options:

Select/Change Data to Print will return you to the first screen.  Show Data will list all of the items you are going to print in a grid format.  Additionally, the number of items to print shows in the lower left-hand corner.

Once you're satisfied with the format and dataset, hit print and your labels will print.
Elo 15D1 Touchcomputer
We just recently got this nicely engineered system into the office, and it's been quite impressive.

The Elo 15D1

In addition to being from the industry leaders in touchscreens, this all in one unit features some of the best cable management we've ever seen.  It runs Extreme POS and Future POS smoothly, and has a small footprint.  It's pictured above with the optional customer display and magnetic stripe reader, but is available without those.  There is also an optional built-in scanner, which attaches to the side (if you follow the link above, you can see it.)

One newly added feature this month is the option to pop up a box displaying customer notes when the customer is selected on the invoice.  This feature will allow for you to alert your cashiers to vital information on the customer, helping with loss prevention and customer service.

The Dawdle and Fillz applications covered in the previous newsletter are now available to supported customers; contact support for more information.

For customers on an update plan, the most recent version of the software is 2.06.0019.
