 CRASH TEST DUMMIES are a Canadian alternative rock/folk rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, best known for their 1993 single "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm". There is no mistaking Brad Roberts' voice. He may look like an average guy, now in his mid-40s, but then he opens his mouth and his majestic baritone voice immediately conjures fond memories of their 90s hit songs. Perhaps best-remembered for the acerbic folk rock sound of 1991's The Ghosts That Haunt Me and 1993's God Shuffled His Feet, there have nonetheless been enough hits for the band over the years to merit a couple of greatest hits packages. Through it all, the band with Roberts at the helm has touched on funk and soul, folk, electronic music and even Christmas tunes. What's New at Skyworks Productions?
Join Skyworks Productions next spring for our 4-night Music & Arts Festival at Sea aboard Royal Caribbean's mega-ship, The Navigator of the Seas for a Spring 2011 Western Caribbean sailing!
Throughout the cruise, live bands and solo artists will be performing in various venues onboard. We will have yoga classes, painting demonstrations and instruction, drum workshops, and an onboard lecture series focusing on holistic and green living as well as the evolution of consciousness.
The highlight of the Music & Arts Festival at Sea will be a stop in Cozumel, Mexico where we will visit the ancient Mayan ruins of Tulum and learn about Mayan culture and the 2012 prophecies.
Also on the agenda is a live acoustic performance at the ruins, and a GRAND concert performance onboard the ship in the main theatre on the last night of the cruise. As the program develops, we'll keep you updated and post the details on our website: www.skyworksmusic.com.
