Join 1 Million Others: Become a Volunteer Reader, Tutor or Mentor

Join the community in advancing the education of children by taking the pledge to become a volunteer reader, tutor or mentor - it's simple to get started. Visit www.LiveUnited.com/Volunteer and take the pledge. Once you do, you'll be counted in the movement to recruit one million volunteer readers, tutors and mentors. Within a few days, you'll receive an email from United Way. In that email will be a few suggestions on how you can volunteer, and ways to find other volunteer roles in your community.

Just Can't Wait?

Contact 2-1-1. By dialing 2-1-1 on your phone (or dialing 1 (800) 899-1479) you'll be connected to a call specialist who will tell you about organizations in your community that are addressing education issues.

Thank you for your support of United Way and your continued work to advance the common good.
