Jury Competition: Acclaimed documentary photographer and Washington Post columnist Frank Van Riper will jury the show.
Eligibility:
1. The Competition is open to all subject matter.
2. All processes are acceptable (color, black & white, digital, or c-prints)
3. Photographer must be a student in elementary, middle or high school.
4. Work should have been completed in the last three years.
How To Enter: Jurying will be from printed or digital images. Digital submissions must be from high quality scans. Maximum of three (3) images per artist. If your images are accepted, you will be required to mat and frame work prior to exhibit. Specific requirements regarding mats, frame size and materials will be given upon acceptance.
Deadline For Submissions:
1. All entries must be received between Wednesday, April 29th and Wednesday,
May 6th at the Photoworks Studio (hours 1:00 - 7:00 pm) or at the Glen Echo Park
office (daily, 12 noon - 6:00 pm).
2. Notification of acceptance will be sent Monday, May 11th via email.
3. Accepted work must be framed and returned to Photoworks by Sunday, May 17th
between 1:00 and 7:00 pm. All other work should be picked up by May 17th at
Photoworks Studio (1-7 pm).
Entry Fee: $25.00 for up to three (3) images. Make check payable to Photoworks.
