The Rock 'n' Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon is one of Lisa Quinn's favorite events. In addition to being the NFE team captain for Virginia Beach, Lisa also leads the NFE Pocono Run for the Red Team.
RuNFor Meadow
Lisa runs for her daughter, Meadow, pictured above. Meadow is still tube fed 10 hours each night. Meadow has a new tumor growing at the
base of her spine, and
she will be getting another MRI soon. The next step will be to see a tumor surgeon. Meadow has also been having pain in her right arm, which may indicate tumor growth. Despite some serious challenges this year, Meadow has started playing indoor soccer. And, yes, she is still rocking out to Linkin Park.

|  | Mia is three years old and has NF1. Mia has two brain tumors, optic gliomas, with one on each optic nerve. These tumors occur in less than five percent of NF kids, but they are usually only present on one optic nerve. Read more about Mia's story. Mia is
