Issue #25 Spring 2009
ScottIt is hard to believe that this is issue 25 of my BetterHealthGuy Newsletter.  My how the time flies by.

It has been such a powerful experience for me to have the opportunity to communicate with so many of you that are also recovering from Lyme disease.

It has now been 5 months since I stopped taking all prescription anti-microbials (antibiotics, anti-virals, and anti-fungals) and I am doing quite well.  I am optimistic that I will not return to them but I am also realistic.  If the time comes that they are necessary, I will be open to the discussion.

I'm feeling quite good - nearly 90% or more most days of where I have been in the past.  I see the light at the end of the tunnel and yet I do not want to sound over-confident as none of us can predict what lies in store in the future.

Here's to your health!

KlinghardtDr. Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD on "Microbes, Toxins, and Unresolved Emotional Conflicts: A Unifying Theory"

My most recent article is a collaboration with Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD

In this article, Dr. Klinghardt shares the relationships between toxins, infections, and unresolved emotional conflicts.  It is this idea, also known as the "Klinghardt Axiom", which was the single driving force in my approach to wellness.

2009 LIA Conference is Sure to Be a Hit

One of my favorite conferences was the 2008 LIA Foundation event.  The 2009 event is sure not to disappoint.

In my opinion, if we can understand how to approach the treatment of autism, treating Lyme disease becomes much easier.  Lyme disease is a subset of the complexities involved in autistic children.

They have similar issues - infections, toxicity, heavy metals, and more.  In fact, in many cases, they also have Lyme disease.

The LIA Foundation, in conjunction with CHOICE, is putting on their annual event June 25 - June 28, 2009 in Scottsdale, AZ.

Some of the presenters include:

    * Ann Corson, MD
    * Lee Cowden, MD
    * Stephen Fry, MD
    * Garry Gordon, MD
    * Lawrence A. Klapow, PhD
    * Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD
    * Joe Mercola, DO
    * Claire Riendeau, ND
    * Anju Usman, MD

This is an event not to be missed.  So come join me at the "From Roadblocks to Recovery" event in June.  I can't wait!
