Finance agency asks for funds cutoff,
Holston missions team responds to concerns
 
United Methodist News Service has released two reports this week on financial concerns in the East Africa Conference and a formal complaint against resident Bishop Daniel Wandabula.
Holston Conference has had a convenant partnership with the East Africa Conference, which includes the South Sudan District, since 2008. This week, the Holston Missions Ministry Team released a response to the Sept. 25 UMNS story.

At General Conference this past spring, United Methodists approved the addition of "Mental Health" to their Social Principles. Oct. 7-13 is Mental Health Awareness Week.
