A Sunday evening flood destroyed parts of Buffalo Mountain Camp less than one week after the last of the summer campers departed. The Rev. Randy Pasqua, executive director of Camp and Retreat Ministries, provides an update and information on how Holston members can respond to the Jonesborough-area tragedy.
Jim Fetzer, Holston disaster response coordinator, is requesting trained Early Response Team workers to help clean up at least 80 flood-damaged homes in the Johnson City District. Church members are also asked to collect "Cleaning Buckets."
