Each of Holston's 12 district superintendents are inviting pastors to share success stories of churches displaying "Vital Congregation" qualities during Cabinet meetings. The Rev. Ann Robins recently reported that Ebenezer United Methodist Church has grown in membership (42 percent), Sunday school attendance (38 percent), and giving (70 percent) in six years.

Wythe woman helps Tennessee victims Updates: The Treasurer's office has received $9,895 from Holston churches in response to a March 20 appeal to help victims of recent storms. This week, Knox Housing Partnership awarded a $20,000 grant to Holston Disaster Response to aid ongoing and future work. (More information to come.) Meanwhile, the Rev. Reece Fauscett requests volunteers to complete three houses in Dade County's final recovery effort for April 2011 damage.
