Fairview boy raises $15,000
for church and well in Haiti
Zach Tate's concern for others was evident when he was only five years old. While helping his church collect clothes for children in Zimbabwe, the kindergartener asked why there were shoes but no socks. He sold his homegrown cantaloupe and did chores to raise enough money to buy those socks.
Seven years later, the Maryville 12-year-old is again leading the way in showing peace and love to others -- in the season when we celebrate the coming of the Prince of Peace.
