Our advise ....  take a deep breath and take a moment to enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas in Southeast South Dakota. Spend some time shopping the Empire Mall, Downtown Sioux Falls or any of our small town main streets for a unique Christmas shopping experience. At Sioux Falls, the largest city in South Dakota, there is always something going on - no matter the time of year. A great family time, or just a get-away for some alone time, is the Winter Wonderland at Falls Park. A dazzling display of lights for all ages to celebrate the season. The display is FREE! Winter Wonderland at Falls Park will continue to light up nightly from dusk to 10 p.m. through Sunday, January 9, 2011. Here is a 7 minute video, with music, to give you an idea of this awesome family opportunity. Twilight Flights Lets go north, just a few miles. To Strawbale Winery near Renner. Starting Dec. 16 and running through Dec. 18 You can take a helicopter flight over Sioux Falls and view the lights and sights. For more information about this and other great events coming to Strawbale Winery. The Hegg Brothers Coming Dec. 18-19 to the Orpheum Theater and the Washington Pavilian, both located in Sioux Falls. Holiday Jam. This musical showcase features the talents of a 9-piece band playing holiday classics as well as contemporary new arrangements in the signature lush and rhythmic horn band sound of Jeremy and Jon Hegg.
