RSVP for the 27th Ward Business Expo and SBIF Grant kick-off
June 4
27th Ward Alderman Walter Burnett, Jr. invites all ward businesses to attend a business services expo to get assistance from many City departments on issues specific to their companies. A new SBIF grant will also be announced for the Kinzie Corridor Tax Increment Financing District. Eligible capital improvement projects can receive up to $150,000 in grant funding from the City. The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the alderman speaks at noon. Call Jesse Smart at the 27th Ward for details: 312-432-1995.

We've added many new free classes. Now you or your employees can get the most out of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Photoshop or ACT! with these popular free classes right here at ICNC's computer training center. Ace Styline gets environmental certification
ICNC member Ace Styline, a local millwork and cabinetry fabricator, was awarded the Forest Stewardship Council Chain of Custody Certificate. They can now participate in LEED projects so developers know wood is coming from responsibly managed sources. Congratulations to Ace Styline.
