On
Wednesday, April 1, 2009 the House Ag Committee committee hearing on HB 09-1317 was held. The bill is about prohibiting the State from selling any State
owned land to the Army for the purpose of expanding Pinon Canyon.
The
hearing lasted 3 hours. The young people, representing their Future Farmers of America
groups, had traveled 4 hours to get to Denver (and it took them another 6 to 8 hours to get back due to bad weather).
