These comments relate to the two additional brigades that are being pursued for Fort Carson - they say it doesn't have anything to do with Pinon Canyon but the DEIS references Pinon Canyon and the increased use on multiple occasions.

 

The GTA DEIS is an attempt to force the expansion because of the increased use 'projected' for PCMS.  Also, putting another 6,000 troops, plus their families in the Springs (on top of the other 3 brigades that BRACC called for) will completely over-burden the infrastructure of that area and the entire state will suffer.
