Dolce Vita
Living

There is a tower in Dubai called La Dolce Vita, a song by Paul Van Dyk, a Hong Kong TV show on Italian Lifestyle. All attributed to the masterpiece movie filmed in Rome and directed by Federico Fellini in 1960 starring Anita Ekbert,  and Marcello Mastroianni.

But what is so glamorously tempting about living the "Sweet life"? After having spent my third consecutive month here in Italy, mainly in the regions of Campania, Umbria and Tuscany, I finally have my own considerations about the enriching experience.

It's about letting a Dolce-far-niente take you over while you watch a pink and orange sunset over the Vesuvio in the bay of Naples. It's about  the lemon scented aroma of the Dior eau de toilette  Escale a Portofino and capturing like in an old vintage postcard the exact time, place and moment of a Piazza in the Sicilian city of Siracusa.

And when you walk like a star under the sun in the Capri Piazzetta as Sophia Loren and Audrey Hepburn did, wear traditionally handmade sandals  that look like jewels and large incognito dark glasses handmade in Venice.

La Dolce Vita is also levitaing in a state of passionate love, degustation, and inspiration. As many do, choose to marry in an Umbrian villa where time has remained unaltered being ecologically correct , savour Sorrento's Limoncellos, Nerano's Mafalde, served with afresh Falanghina wine. After that, dare to dive in the depth of the one thousand colors of the Blue Grotto sea in the Amalfi Coast.

Finally, Roberto Bolle, Pino Daniele, and Zubin Metha will enhance your heart at a Naples under the stars in Piazza Plebiscito making  you realize that the language of music and art is universal.

By the way, I wonder if the Indian deity, Krishna when he
stopped on Capri Mount Tiberius carrying his Bansuri knew the meaning of these three Italian words.
