 International Society of Poets in 2007


Mali, an internationally-published poet from Northern Virginia will be at Savoy-Lee Winery to share her poetry with the works of award-winning photographer Dede Haas.  The combination create art that inspires, motivates, provokes deep emotions and challenge people to share and to explore all of their senses..........



Mali will be sharing some of her work at 1:30 & 3:30 pm.  There will also be an opportunities for those that would like to share their own poetry & to talk with Mali throughout the afternoon.

Framed artwork & greeting cards will be available for purchase with 20% of the proceeds going to a non-profit  Kidsave.

We will be serving light hors d'oeuvres to enjoy with your wine.

From Lynchburg:
Take Route 460 West toward Roanoke.  Turn left on Route 811, near the Sheetz gas station.  Continue straight on this road and turn right on Route 24.  Turn left on Route 627, Preston Mill Road. Turn right on Johnson Mountain Road.  The winery is about 1 mile on the left side of the road.

From Roanoke:
Take Route 24 East.  Turn right on Route 43.  Turn left on Route 626, Smith Mountain Lake Parkway.The road name changes to Johnson Mountain Road.  After passing the Route 626/628 intersection, the winery is about 2 miles on the right side of the road.

From Bedford:
Take Route 43 South.  Turn left on Route 626, Smith Mountain Lake Parkway.  The road name changes to Johnson Mountain Road.  After passing the Route 626/628 intersection, the winery is about 2 miles on the right side of the road.
