Moss Wellness Spa will host the Energy Muse Jewelery Trunk Show from Thursday, November 6th to Saturday, November 8th. The Trunk Show will be availble in the Moss Spa lobby from 9am - 6pm Thursday and Friday and 9am - 8pm on Saturday.

Recess Kids Club Has Gift Cards Available for Moms-in-Need
For overworked Moms that need some time to themselves or for some extra time (without all the extra bodies) to get holiday shopping accomplished, Recess Kids Club is offering their form of gift cards, in childcare hours.
A short-term child care center with flexible hours and time-based billing, pre-paid hours can now be purchased in 4-hour increments for the busy mom in need of some time at the spa, or for the mom or dad who still needs time to stock the gifts under the tree. 4 pre-paid hours cost $50, which comes out to $12.50/hr, however, hours can also be purchased in 8, 16 and 32-hour increments. In these cases the price goes up slightly, however, the price per hour decreases; making 32 pre-paid hours $8.75/hr. Last Chance to Visit Shadowlands Haunted Attraction During Extended Hours
Shadowlands, formerly know as The Revenant Haunted Attraction, will extend their Halloween week hours.
Entering Shadowlands' three fully interactive, immersive and haunting experiences known as The Revenant, The Chamber and The Wrath, will be more like entering a horror film than a typical haunt on over 60,000 square feet of land. Groups will be involved in decision-making that would seem to produce different outcomes, creating the ultimate interactive haunted attraction.
Shadowlands will be open from September 26 to November 1 on Thursday and Sundays from 7 to 10pm and Fridays and Saturdays 7 to 11pm. The haunt will be open HALLOWEEN WEEK every night except Tuesday and HALLOWEEN NIGHT from 7 to 12 midnight. Tickets are $18 online and $20 in person.

Cadillac Ranch Hosts the Haunted Halloween Hoedown, October 31st
On Friday, October 31, Cadillac Ranch will be celebrating the holiday the All-American way, with a Halloween Hoedown.

| Foundation for Blind Children Hosts
7th Annual Night for Sight, November 1st
On Saturday, November 1st the Foundation for Blind Children (FBC) will host its seventh annual "Night for Sight" benefit at Mastro's City Hall Steakhouse in Scottsdale, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Now in its seventh year, "Night for Sight" has grown to become one of the Valley's premier fundraising extravaganzas and raised over $1,000,000 in 2007.
Beginning with hosted cocktails and a silent auction, guests will also enjoy a delectable dinner featuring the fine cuisine from Mastro's City Hall Steakhouse followed by a live auction and dancing. All proceeds of the evening will benefit the Foundation for Blind Children, which helps blind and visually impaired children, adults and their families lead lives of independence and dignity through mastery of their environment.

The Olive Branch Fund Hosts "A Mighty Voice" Fundraiser Walk at Phoenix Zoo, November 2nd 
On Sunday, November 2nd The Olive Branch Fund: A Thisbe and Noah Scott Legacy, a non-profit organization started by former Arcadia residents and Phoenix business owners, John and Laurian Scott, will be hosting "A Mighty Voice," a multi-city fundraiser to raise awareness and fund research for pediatric motor neuron diseases (MNDs) at the Phoenix Zoo. The Olive Branch Fund was founded in honor of their two children, Elenna "Thisbe" and Noah Scott, who were both lost to Brown-Vialetto-Van Laere (BVVL), a rare form of MND, the cause of which is still unknown.
The fundraiser will include a two-mile walk through the Phoenix Zoo, a commemorative t-shirt for every walker, as well as an all-day zoo pass. It is through this, and other fundraisers throughout the nation, that the Scott family hopes to create "A Mighty Voice" for all children affected by motor neuron diseases.

First Press Weekend of Wine, November 7th and November 8th

On Friday, November 7th Valley residents are invited to wine and dine at the 7th Annual First Press Weekend of Wine Grand Tasting event. This one-of-a-kind event, taking place at the Hotel Valley Ho from 6 - 9 pm, is a wine tasting with over 100 award winning wines from around the globe, gourmet hors d'oeuvres and a "Food Fight" competition featuring the 2007 defending Champion Aaron May of Sol y Sombra.

On Thursday, November 20, 2008 Foundation for Blind Children will host a Tax Credit Breakfast from 7:30 - 9 am.
