Set Up
From the main setup screen, you are able to add new packages, edit existing ones, or view all packages.

First, you will have to choose one of three options: Edit Package, Add a New Package, or View Packages.

If you choose to edit a package, you will have to double click on the package name in the list box. If you choose to add a new package, you will be brought to a similar window.

After typing in your identifying package name, you have to choose which unit type this package should be available in. By clicking on the drop down menu, you will see the options to choose all unit types or one of your unit types. You then can specify what occupancy this is based on. If you choose not to enter additional nights rate, please note that whether you book a room for one night or five nights, Lodgical will apply the same package rate.
By including the items in a package, Lodgical will apply the correct taxes to your room and to the other charges. If you provide a service to another business, be sure to discuss with them who will be paying the sales tax. Once you reach an agreement, you can select the tax status of your items accordingly. We suggest not assuming that your partnering company is paying the taxes. Below the list of included items, you may also type in a description to further identify and promote your packages.
You may also choose to View Packages from the setup package window. You will see what looks like a report that details your packages.
