Greetings!

Emailing has become a big part of client interaction.  It has become so big in fact that, in many cases, emailing has become the main interaction between lodging properties and their clients.  Not only do we communicate confirmation and reservation letters via email, but it has become standard to email promotions, coupons, etc.
 
Note:  the following directions assume a preconfigured email set up.  Please call us to configure Lodgical.
Bulk Emailing
Getting specials out to all of your your clients can be a tricky thing.  Sending it through email can save you time and money.  To send an email like this out of Lodgical is very easy.  By following the steps below, you will have your email out in minutes.
 
In the Mailings menu, click Email Mailing List, then Send Email to All Addresses depending on who you are sending to.  Choose your selected dates (or all) and click OK.  After you type in your message and add any attachments, click Send Mail.

Limitations
 
Yes, I know, there had to be some catch right?  Many internet service providers (ISP's) have a limitation on how many emails can go out in one hour and how many email addresses one email can go out to.  Call your ISP to find out what your limitations are.
 
If you are limited but would still like to know how to do a bulk email, give us a call and we'd be happy to help you out.
 
Constant Contact
Constant ContactBy using Constant Contact, an email marketing company, you are able to send out as many emails as you want.  Constant Contact also allow you to use color and images in your email, further improving the responses you receive.
 
Export Email Addresses to file
Lodgical can also export your clients email addresses to a file that you can use in Constant Contact.  To create this file, we will be using virtually the same procedure as above.  In the Mailings menu, click Email Mailing List, then Send Email to All Addresses depending on who you are sending to.  Choose your selected dates (or all).  Then, to get these addresses to the file, change the delivery option on the bottom to Write Export File Only and click OK.  Lodgical has now created a file in the following location:
 
O:\Lodgical\LodgText folder.  The file name is Email.txt.
