Thanks to our partners for a successful 2010:
- we served over 800 families
- through 30,000 points of contact including facilitated groups, parenting and nutrition classes, family advocacy, fulfillment of basic needs, and referrals
- in Boulder, Broomfield, Lafayette, and Longmont.
We couldn't have the impact we do without our partners. Thanks! We look forward to 2011.

The purpose of this newsletter is to let you know that Karen Niebrugge, Director of Health & Basic Needs Programs at Parenting Place, has moved on to a position with Invest In Kids in Denver.
During her three year tenure at Parenting Place, Karen helped establish the Family Resource Center in Boulder, implemented a new online database system, and rolled out classes such as our Operation Frontline nutrition offerings and the Incredible Years parenting classes. She will be missed.
http://www.parentingplaceboulder.org/2011/01/04/farewell-to-karen/ We hope to have a successor on board soon. In the meantime, our staff is pitching in to continue to provide the services that Karen oversaw such as Basic Needs and Energy Assistance.
