Parenting Place and Noodles
Take Your Family Out To Eat on May 17th |

| Highlighted Groups for the month of May |
Mandarin Playgroup: A playgroup for parents and their children, ages 0-5 who speak Mandarin as a first or second language meets at Parenting Place on the first and third Mondays of each month, 9:30-11:00AM. If interested, please contact Ning Mosberger at ning.mosberger@gmail.com.
Adoption Support Group: Meet with other mothers and fathers with their adopted children, as well as those awaiting adoptions. Families involved with domestic, foreign, foster-adopt and kinship adoptions are welcome to attend. The goal of the Adoption Support Group is toprovide a setting where families with shared experiences can gather and receive support, education, and a sense of community. The group meets Wednesdays at Parenting Place from 1:30-3:00PM. |
| Comings and Goings | New Operations Director and Volunteer Manager
It is with happiness and regret that we announce the departure of Jessica Dale, Director of Operations at Parenting Place. Jessica recently resigned her post after three years of exemplary service to Parenting Place. She has moved back to California to be closer to family and to return to graduate school. Jessica, you will be missed!
While she has some pretty big shoes to fill, Sue Schnitzer recently came on board as our new Director of Operations at Parenting Place. Sue is a long-time resident of Boulder who many of you may know because of her music programs for kids. We would like to welcome Sue to our Parenting Place family with open arms! Be sure to introduce yourself to her the next time you're at the Boulder offices. |
| Announcing: New Partnership with Boulder County and Foothills United Way |
Parenting Place has just partnered up with the Personal Investment Enterprise program of Boulder County to help low-income families save money in order to start up a small business, purchase a home, pay for college education AND receive a 4:1 match in dollars. Pretty cool, eh? Speaker will visit our facilitated groups in Boulder and Broomfield counties and distribute information to participants. |

| What we do ... | Parenting Place is a Place for your family to meet people, get help, learn, share ... and have fun! We welcome all families with children pre-natal to five years old. Since 1984, Parenting Place has been supporting families in Boulder and Broomfield Counties regardless of economic circumstances. Parenting Place provides support and playgroups, educational resources, Spanish language programs, parenting workshops and classes, and assistance accessing community resources. We also maintain a donation closet and food pantry. At Parenting Place, we are building a community of confident parents and healthy families!
