Part-time Pubwatch Development Officer

£15570 - £18937 plus £788 Inner fringe allowance pro-rata (Subject to Job Evaluation)

Watford Borough Council is looking for a part-time officer to provide various services to the Borough's three Pubwatch and eight Off-Watch schemes, including:

· administrative support

· membership development and identifying training needs

· promoting good practise amongst alcohol retailers

· raising the profile of the Schemes within the Borough and wider afield

· prepare a draft submission for Watford Borough Council to enter the Civic Trust Purple Flag award.

This is a part-time post (15 hours per week), for one year. If you have knowledge of good practises relating to the management of licensed premises and have managed successful licensed premises in the past, we would like to hear from you.

A basic knowledge of the operation of the Licensing Act 2003 and related legislation is desirable. Previous experience of involvement in a Pubwatch or similar night-time economy scheme and the ability to manage three or four projects at the same time would also be desirable.
