REGIONAL CHAIR (unpaid + reasonable
expenses)
Peter Jones, the chair of our Home Counties region for the last few years, will be leaving at the end of March - and you could be the person to replace him. Living or working in or around the Home Counties region, you will be a committed volunteer prepared to lead a small committee working with our full-time officers to deliver a programme of events and activities. You will be enthusiastic about licensing and its development, and be able to enthuse and motivate commitment to the Institute from Members and non-Members alike. As a regional chair, you will sit on the Institute's Board as a director. You will be expected to attend four Board meetings a year and participate in the Board's sub-committees. You will be adroit at representing the Institute's interests to external parties. Your confirmation in the post will be subject to election by regional Members at their meeting on 25 March 2009 in St Albans.
