The next London regional meeting will take place at
Camden Council on 6 March 2009 at 9.30
am.
Speakers include a Home Office policy officer about the policy objectives and lap-dancing club provisions in the Policing and Crime Bill. Other speakers include barrister Leo Charalambides, on the Policing and Crime Bill and respected licensing barrister James Rankin on the licensing of sex encounter premises under the proposed new legislation. This event in Bristol on 31 March 2009 will be a
training day and annual general meeting for the south-
west region.
Speakers include Professor Roy Light, barristers Leo Charalambides and Sarah Clover, and solicitor Chris Pritchett. Between them they will cover the liabilities and responsibilities of premises licence holders; the Policing and Crime Bill; exempt and permitted gaming in pubs and clubs; and public vs statutory nuisance.
