Calling All Goblins and Ghouls to RAM's Fall Family Fun Fest Saturday, October 24 3:00 - 6:30 pm Free

During this spooky season, unearth some festive family fun at the Racine Art Museum. Enjoy spine-chilling stories, pumpkin decorating, wicked art projects and so much more. Highlighting a recent gift to the museum by internationally known Art Jewelry collector, Donna Schneier, visitors are invited to have some hair-raising fun while learning about The Donna Schneier Collection Arrives at RAM: Art Jewelry of 1980s and 1990s.
"I have been impressed by RAM's commitment to the field and the quality of its programs and collection," states Schneier. "I look forward to the educational programming RAM will organize around these works." Because of RAM's dedication to the arts and its regional community, Schneier presented RAM with a 49-piece gift which documents the two major approaches to Art Jewelry in the late 20th century-works in precious materials and adornment created in non-precious materials and found objects.

Holiday Treat Bags
Hands-On Family Art Projects 3:00 - 6:00 pm
Museum Treasure Hunt 4:30 pm Wander and weave through RAM's exhibitions looking for clues and treasure.
Spooky Story Time 4:00 and 6:00 pm Designed for children ages 4 and up.
Costume Contest/Parade 5:30 pm Three winners will be chosen by museum visitors and staff in the following categories: Most Creative, Most Popular and Most Related to RAM and its Exhibitions.

Together, the two campuses of the Racine Art Museum, RAM in downtown Racine at 441 Main Street and the Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts at 2519 Northwestern Avenue, seek to elevate the stature of contemporary crafts to that of fine art by exhibiting significant works in craft media with painting, sculpture and photography, while providing outstanding educational art programming.
Docent led contemporary craft and architectural tours of the museums are available. Both campuses of the Racine Art Museum, are open to the public Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, and are closed Mondays, Federal holidays and Easter. RAM is open Sunday Noon - 5:00 pm, while Wustum is closed Sundays. An admission fee of $5 for adults, with reduced fees for students and seniors, applies at RAM. Admission to Wustum is free. Members are always admitted without charge to either campus.
