Authentic Matters is alive and well and revitalized! There is new energy and clear direction for this work of service for the international community! This lovely prayer from James Dillet Freeman comes from Unity Church and was taken to the moon on Apollo 15 and left on the moon by James B. Irwin. Read it several times and it will become more meaningful each time you read it. It is a keeper! I have started my studies of Unity principles on my path to apply to their ministry program. I am promoting a new product from Unity called "Daily Word" which is a monthly affirmations booklet that helps you on your spiritual path with daily passages to uplift and inspire. I read mine as I wake up and sit on the side of my bed each morning. It is a lovely non denominational spiritual booklet that I absolutely love and am raised up each time I read it. Through Authentic Matters, I will sell the book I co-authored, "How to Achieve a Heaven on Earth". Please contact me if you would like to purchase a copy. Price is Euro 19.95.
Two new short sections of the newsletter called "Interesting Links" and "Ask Rev. Barbara" to add a bit more depth - but not too much text!
If you have questions or interesting links - please send them to me!
Thank you for reading this e-zine!
Namaste'!

A well known prayer from Unity Church -
Do you need Me?
I am there.
You cannot see Me, yet I am the light you see by. You cannot hear Me, yet I speak through your voice. You cannot feel Me, yet I am the power at work
in your hands.
I am at work, though you do not understand My ways. I am at work, though you do not understand My works. I am not strange visions. I am not mysteries.
Only in absolute stillness, beyond self, can you know Me as I AM, and then, but as a feeling and a faith.
Yet I am here. Yet I hear. Yet I answer. When you need ME, I am there. Even if you deny Me, I am there. Even when you feel most alone, I am there. Even in your fears, I am there. Even in your pain, I am there.
I am there when you pray and when you do not pray. I am in you, and you are in Me. Only in your mind can you feel separate from Me, for only in your mind are the mists of "yours" and "mine". Yet only with your mind can you know Me
and experience Me.
Empty your heart of empty fears. When you get yourself out of the way, I am there. You can of yourself do nothing, but I can do all. And I AM in all.
Though you may not see the good, good is there, for I am there. I am there because I have to be, because I AM.
Only in Me does the world have meaning; only out of Me does the world take form; only because of ME does the world go forward. I am the law on which the movement of the stars and the growth of living cells are founded.
I am the love that is the law's fulfilling. I am assurance. I am peace. I am oneness. I am the law that you can live by. I am the love that you can cling to. I am your assurance. I am your peace. I am ONE with you. I am.
Though you fail to find ME, I do not fail you. Though your faith in Me is unsure, My faith in you never wavers, because I know you, because I love you.
Beloved, I AM there.
James Dillet Freeman

Ask Rev. Barbara
Question from one of our readers: How do I let things go and not find fault in people and situations around me?
This is a question of being conscious of your own inner self. It is about considering those things that "serve us" and those things that do not. A thing serves you if it gives you positive energy, strength and peace of mind. If a thing or a situation - or even a person - does not bring you these things clearly and abundantly, then they are not serving you and your greater good.
Serving here means adding to your life, adding to your joy in living.
When things come up that annoy you or cause you distress or do not meet your expectations, ask yourself this simple question - "Does this serve me?". This can apply to complaining in a busy check out line about being inconvenienced, being annoyed at a colleague over some small mistake, or holding on to a grudge against someone and not being willing to forgive. Do these things serve you to hold on to them?
If the answer is yes, then carry on with them in your life. If the answer is no, then consider to let it go, let him/her go and take a position of peace, forgiveness and compassion - find good things and people that DO serve your greater good. | |
