Rev. Barbara's Back! 

 After seven months of huge changes in my life, I am back to writing my uplifting short messages for you! 

Much has happened since my last newletter in April this year. I have closed my "Reiki on the road" practice and have returned to sales in a fantastic  job with an expat publishing company. Doing my sales thing again, but doing it with integrity and grace and learning "how to serve"and still be a good salesperson!

Separated gracefully, from my husband of 16 years, rented my own lovely, little house in Sassenheim and getting used to being on my own again - and loving the re-discovery process.
  
I am in touch with the International Director for Unity Church in the US. I have started studing Unity principles as they are quite in alignment with my view of religion and spirituality.
Unity is based on "New Thought' teachings of which I will write about iin my next newsletter.

 

I have started a Reiki Circle once a month for native English speaking Reiki practitioners, Masters and students to come together to practice our healing techniques on each other and have a sense of community in our own native language. Helps me to reconnect with the spiritual and healing and to help others to gain experience with different healing modalities as I am trainined in 4 different methods of healing.


I am also busy with Inner Wellness at Work with an international school who wants me to teach their teachers how to meditate and also how to teach the children to meditate in simple ways to reduce stress and support good behavior and focus.

Thank you to those of you who have asked to me to start publishing my inspirational messages again and to those of you who gain comfort and strength from what I write...

A bi-monthly message from Authentic Matters

Three Little Words

 

What three little words, when put together, bring you in immediate contact with comfort, support, love and compassion?

 

Which simple call to action enlists a power immensely greater than yourself, to come to your aid as soon as it is uttered?

 

What three words, whispered so softly that only you can know what is said, are so powerful that they are heard on the other side of the universe and even up to heaven?

 

These three powerful little words are...

 

 "Please Help Me"or for those traditionalists who might prefer:

 

Heavenly Father, Please Help Me...   or        even for those with a wider vision:

 

That Greater Power that I don't really know exactly what it is, but I know that there is something bigger than myself out there...,   Please Help Me..."

 

When your life gets hard and you are at the edge, you can whisper these words to your higher power - whatever you believe it to be...

 

Believe that this Power IS present and waiting to bring comfort to you if you just reach out with these three little words to ask for help. But this is sometimes the hardest part: Asking for help!

 

"Oh, God is too busy to be concerned with my little problems..."

 

"I can handle this myself and don't

need anyone else to help me..."

 

"This problem is too important to leave it to God. I will give all my small problems to God, but I better handle the big ones myself."

 

 

Don't be too stubborn or to prideful to ask for help!

For God certainly hears every prayer, every desperate whisper...

Every,"Please Help Me" in your darkest hour and responds in ways you see and often in ways you don't.

   

This is all about faith, trust and surrender -

 

Have a little faith that you are not alone, that God always hears you and...

 in the power of three little words.

I ask for your help and guidance today for I cannot handle it all alone. I know that you are always around me and there to help me find the way. Nothing is going to happen today that you and I together can't handle. Please help me.

English language Reiki Healing Circle English language Reiki Healing Circle meets every last Tuesday evening  of the month in my home in Sassenheim. All Reiki Masters, practitioners and students can come along to practice in safety and community with other native English speakers.

I am selling the book I co-authored "How to Achieve a Heaven on Earth" book for Euro 19.95.

I will have a table at the December Connecting Women Bazaar in The Hague to sell my book and get newsletter sign ups. Tell your friends that Everyday Spirituality is back!
