The Noble Eightfold Path
Here is an overview of the basic Buddhists teachings that came in my "Itty Bitty Buddha Booklet". (See side bar). How many of these are you already living:
Right Understanding - viewing the world as it presents itself to the eye, without imposing preconceived notions or judgements. Right Mindedness - developing a pure personal attitude by eliminating all judgements in order to positively influence internal reactions to life events. Right Speech - reflect on the power of words and the effects they have upon others. Listen with awareness when speaking, mindful of the weight that words carry. Right Action - constructive actions have constructive effects. Destructive acts have destructive effects. Reflect before acting and refrain from any action that may harm others and ultimately, themselves. Right Livelihood - choose work in keeping with one' s nature and beliefs and impact it will have on society through service and right action. Right Effort - diligently work on own spiritual development toward enlightenment and avoid laziness and indulgence which will hinder progress. Right Attentiveness - think objectively as this allows the student to recognize the confusion within and any negative influences that could pull him/her off the path toward spiritual growth. Right Concentration - Focus intensely on awareness of oneness with all things. Nirvana or divine peace resides in each one of us. It is not something to strive for or achieve, but to open up to within to allow it to unfold.
Not out there, but within you waiting to unfold...
Spiritual practice can help the Itty Bitty Buddha within each of us to lead more peaceful and fulfilled lives.

What's New?
I am busy developing the concepts of Namaste for the book I am writing. I have just launched a blog called Living the Namaste Blog. Please go check it out and post something for me. I am very excited to enter the world of blogging. This site will be the main point of contact for people to read about my businesses as I integrate the Namaste Principles into everything I do. It is an easier way to reach out to me with comments.
I have also joined two social networking groups where you can contact me: . Facebook, and Twitter and I will start a Namaste group in one of them shortly.
