Contentment - It is What it Is
Stop and consider this: Are you content with where you are in your life right now? When things don't go as you want them to, do you dwell in victim mode?
In difficult moments can you say to yourself, "It is what it is, (even if it stinks!), but I can handle it with God's help"?
For if you think about it, God does not make mistakes. If you are discontent and miserable with who you are, where you are and the situation you are in, aren't you saying to God that He has made a mistake in you?
Contentment with what is, is a spiritual life law that is often overlooked.
As we all know, you draw to yourself like a magnet what you think about and feel about your life. Discontentment and dissatisfaction bring more experiences to you that you don't want. These thoughts block the flow of Universal positive energy (God) that creates movement toward something better.
For behind the scenes, the Universe responds to your every thought and feeling. You keep the feelings of discontentment circulating and you will be trapped in that place and not allow God to bring to you what you want to have occur.
Work to make changes you want to see in your life, do not sit back and be the victim- never give up!
But at the same time, dwell happily and contented with whatever lesson God is sending you now.
Realize that if you can find the feeling of general contentment to say, "It is what it is", but something better is coming for me - before long it will.

What's New? I was officially ordained a Minister from Pathways of Light Spiritual College on May 10th in a lovely ceremony in The Hague.
My Reiki practice is officially in service in the Hague. If you live in the area and would like to try a Reiki session for aches and pains that won't go away, contact me for an appointment on Tuesdays at the Prins Hendriklaan 113.

I will host a drop in morning at the Women's Business Initiative in The Hague on June 20th called "Reiki; An Ancient Healing Art with Modern Day Results" with demonstrations and free Reiki treatments.
Authentic Matters Ministries will take a stand at both the Feel at Home in The Hague Fair and I am Not a Tourist Fair in Amsterdam this Fall. Need to spread the word about this Expat Minister and her ministry!
