2008 Louisville Tri Camp Photos

Louisville KY Tri Camp
In July, we hosted our second annual Louisville Tri Camp and previewed the Iron Distance race course.
Starting early Saturday morning, campers dove into the Ohio River only to encounter and incredibly stiff current. Even the strongest swimmers only swam a couple hundred yards in 15 minutes, swiming into the current and literally bodysurfed on the way back in!
The 112 Mile bike ride was hot and humid but a great confidence builder for everyone. Dinner that night included good food and beer at 4th Street LIVE and our run Sunday morning was over the Iron distance course, covering 13 miles and running past Churchill Downs!
