Hello and thank you for receiving our updates. I hope your season is going according to your plans. And if not, I hope that you are adjusting your training or expectations accordingly in order to maximize your results.
This past weekend, we hosted our 9th Annual Lake Placid Training Camp. As usual, the training was hard and effective. We biked over 150 miles, swam three times and ran three times over the 3-day program. The camp finished up with the Lake Placid Half Marathon ... a great way to test our fitness on tired legs. I would like to thank everyone who attended for being such great campers as it was a pleasure to train with you. For a short video of camp and the "LP Class of 2008", Click

On a personal note, this has been a busy time for me and my family as we're getting ready to relocate from our home in Maryland to our new home in Tucson Arizona over the next couple of weeks. Having lived in Maryland all my life (39 years), it's an exciting but also nerve wracking experience to move cross country! Professionally, Tucson is a booming endurance sports town that attracts athletes from all over the world to train in its sunny, warm climate throughout the year. Our winter camp program has been very successful for over half a decade and I'll be working to expand the programs to accomodate smaller cycling and multisport clubs and teams.
My office will remain in Maryland and Troy Jacobson Multisport LLC and Lifesports,Inc. (Spinervals) will continue to have a strong presence on the East Coast in terms of coaching, event sponsorships, camps and more. Stay tuned for more information regarding new programs and opportunities for athletes to visit the sunny southwest for expert coaching services, programs and advice!
I'd like to thank all of my private athletes whom I coach for their patience during this time of transition. I look forward to continuing working closely with you in reaching your athletic and personal goals.
Train Safe and Train Smart,
Coach Troy Jacobson
