There's frost on the ground here in Maryland this morning for the first time this year so I guess winter is just around the corner. It's time to get mentally prepared to spend lots of time training indoors (I know -- not very exciting!). The good news is that you can make great fitness gains this winter by training indoors if you have the proper attitude and the proper plan in place. Now is the time to map out your winter training plan. Don't get lazy and allow your hard work from this past summer be for nothing - maintain and then start gaining strength and aerobic capacity so that you come into the early season with a head start on your competition. Start by implementing our Spinervals Cycling Series and other indoor workout DVDs into your training 'diet'.
