Update from Coach Troy
Hello and thank you for receiving our enews updates.
This weekend, the 2007 version of the Hawaii Ironman played out and as always, the results were unpredictable. Many of the favorites and former champions like Norman Stadler and Natasha Badmann didn't finish while others, like female champ Chrissie Wellington 'broke through' to the top. Years like this remind me of how difficult Ironman is and how no one can ever take their race for granted, regardless of their pedigree, history or experience.
Whether you are new to endurance sports training or a veteran Iron athlete, I encourage you to take the challenge one day and toe the line at an Ironman. I promise you'll have a new appreciation for who you are and what you're capable of achieving.

Post Season Recovery - Allow for Healing By Dr. Mark Klion, Orthopedic Surgeon

training are behind us; there is no better time for healing and
recovery of nagging injuries. For some the morning darkness and cold
weather settle in and we find comfort in turning over in bed and
missing a work out. For most of us, though, there is relief that the
pressure of hard hours of training are behind us. Our bodies tend to
crave this time and desperately need it to heal some of the ravages of
training. Read More... by visting CoachTroy.com

'Classic' Training DVD: Spinervals 3.0 - Suffer O Rama By Coach Troy
This 'classic' Spinervals workout was taped in 1998 at a bar/restaurant in Baltimore named the Baltimore Brewing Company and featured several strong local athletes.
This workout lives up to its name due to its high intensity focus and wide variety of intervals ranging from tempo efforts to short sprints.
While the restaurant was closed when we were filming, the brewery and beer making machines were still functioning so one of the challenges in taping this DVD was overcoming the sound of the motors and grains going through the pipes overhead.
Now, almost 10 years later, this DVD is still very popular in the Spinervals Collection! You can check out a short video clip and read more by clicking HERE or visiting www.spinervals.com
