NEWS FROM THE COACH

|
Hello and thanks for receiving our updates.
I want to take a moment to inform you of the latest developments here at 'Coaching Central'.
Last week we were in Madison WI where we shot the newest installment to the 'On the Road' series, Volume 4 - Madison Wisconsin Training Ride. In this ride, we previewed the Iron distance bike course so athletes have a better understanding of how to tackle it and develop a race day strategy. And even if you aren't racing, you'll enjoy the rolling hills and farm country (corn anyone??) that Madison has to offer! Most interesting will be the fact we had four riders in this new Virtual reality title including two male riders and two female riders. In addition, we had two 'helmet cams' for added perspective. This new title will be ready in about 2-3 months so please stay tuned.
Yesterday and today I watched the Iron Girl race held in Columbia Maryland with over 2000 participants! Wow...amazing! Congrats to all of the first timers who finished. The friendly atmosphere and managable distance of the race make it a perfect experience for all involved. My little 3.5 yr old liked to watch the racers and asked me when she can become a 'triathlaloner'. :) I said that she could someday, secretly preferring she takes up golf and gets on the LPGA Tour instead! :)
Hey, look for the launch of my new 'team member' website soon! This new site will include tons of useful training info., podcasts, video clips, course profiles, athlete profiles and much more. If all goes well, it'll be launched in September and you can sign up to receive free training DVDs, discounts on camps and much more. Stay tuned!
That's all for now...thanks again for reading. Get back to your training now!
