UPDATE FROM COACH TROY
Hello and thanks for receiving our E-News updates.
It's brutally cold here in the Mid Atlantic with temperatures dipping below
zero with the wind chill factor! Just as luck would have it, our pellet stove
that heats our main living area in the 60 year old renovated farm house we live
in broke about a week ago. Parts are on order to fix it but in the meantime, we
wake up to temperatures around 56 - 59 degrees in the house...cold! I am REALLY
looking forward to the upcoming March training camp in Tucson now!!
In training DVD news, we just released our newest title,
StrEndurance (strength + endurance) Vol. 1 - 12 Week Strength Training Progression. This 12
week program consists of seven 20-35 minute workouts in which you'll do each one
4 or 5 times over a two week period before moving to the next workout. The
exercises are easy to perform and the progression is designed to build you
slowly through the process. At the end of the 12-week program, you'll have a
high level of muscle strength and endurance. The last workout on the disk is a
'maintenance' phase which you'll perform during your competitive season!
I'm really excited about this workout because it gives the endurance
athlete the 'right' amount of strength training and general overall
conditioning. Check out a preview and order by clicking HERE
As a coach/trainer, I really enjoy working with a variety of clients of
different ages and backgrounds. Most recently, I've had the opportunity to train
an 11 year old boy, a girls soccer team of 12-14 year olds and a 17 year old
High School star football and Lacrosse player. These kids have tons of energy
and a great work ethic. It's a ton of fun and meaningful to have an impact on
these kids lives as a coach/trainer, helping to teach them discipline and focus.
I love my job as a coach and motivator!
And that leads me to a new program I'll be launching soon... coaching other
coaches and trainers to develop successful coaching/personal
training businesses! I get calls and emails all of the time from people around
the country who are interested in having an influence on others through coaching
and personal training. They want to know the 'secrets' to having success in the
field. Well, the truth is that there are really no 'secrets'... but there are
some principles of success that I can teach others. After all, I've been
coaching athletes professionally since 1992, starting as a personal trainer in
1985 and have learned a few things by trial and error over the years! If you're
interested in learning more about this new program to begin this spring, please
email us at

That's all for now. Thanks again for receiving our emails. Stay warm and be
Strong and Focused!
