Thank you for praying for Canada today!

1. Pray for all our M.P.'s as they come back to Ottawa next week after two weeks back in their home ridings. (This was not a vacation. We know of one M.P. who attended over a hundred events while he was home!)
Let's pray that they would work together effectively as they come back to Parliament.

2. Let's pray for the success of Bill C-268 on Human Trafficking as it is voted on this coming week on April 22nd. A postive vote would send it to Committee study before a third and final reading.

Let's pray that M.P. Joy Smith would be encouraged by the support that she receives.

3. Please keep praying for wisdom for the Prime Minister and his Cabinet as they navigate us through these difficult financial times. Thank God for preserving us so well to this point.

We have also started back up our Nazarite Call Blog which features insights and testimonies from our current group of Nazarite interns.

This week we have been joined by 18 wonderful prayer leaders from coast to coast. They have come to NHOP for a Prayer Summit for City Prayer Leaders hosted by Sara Maynard (Cityscape Prayer) and they represent 12 of our largest cities in Canada.

You might recognize some of them in the picture below. It's a shot of our regular daily 9:00 AM worship time which pictures some of our Nazarites as well.

This weekend Rob & Fran Parker are in Yorkton, Sask. They return to join in with the special events on Tuesday, April 21st as we host the Knesset leaders for a Canada-Israel Together dinner and also attend the Holocaust Memorial assembly on Parliament Hill.

We have set the dates for this summer's high school camp here at NHOP. We are moving it to the first weekend of the summer, June 28-July 4 which will allow us to celebrate Canada Day in Ottawa. Don't delay. We only have 35 spots. Check out our website for more details.

Time to mark your calendar!

The Sunday before Canada Day is a special day to pray for our government. Working together with Nation at Prayer we call it Government Prayer Sunday. This year it is June 28th. We will have lots of resources on our website to help your church celebrate this year.

We are also looking forward to meeting those of you in the Collingwood, Ont. area when we come to do a School of Prayer on May 22,23. More details here.
