Prayer Points
Thank you for praying for Canada today!
1. Pray for our Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his team as they try to deal with the enormous financial challenges of our nation at this time.
2. Let's pray for our Supreme Court Justices. Key issues are before them every week. These 9 men and women affect our country in a measure beyond all other individuals or special interest groups.

3. Pray for key financial leaders in our nation. Heads of banks, major corporations and insurance and investment companies. Pray for integrity and wisdom in all their decisions.
4. Please pray for 8 new Nazarites who will be joining us this coming weekend for the next 14 weeks, that they will make a quick transition to living in community with us and learning a lifestyle of prayer.
If you read our daily blog we give you lots of extra stuff to pray for on a regular basis.

They've closed the Rideau Canal Skateway today, which is the first signal that winter is coming to an end here in Ottawa.
Our last two visiting prayer teams have taken some time out of their busy week to put on their skates and try out the 13 kms of ice. The other thing they have had in common is that they were both from Christian & Missionary Alliance churches in southern Ontario.
By the way, though most of our weeks this Spring are already booked, we do have one open week from April 27 - May 1st. Call us ASAP if you can bring a team!

Parliament Prayer Post
(Daily Prayer for our Leaders)
We are excited about this new resource to help you pray specifically for our parliamentarians!
In the first two weeks we have prayed for Jim Abbott, Diane Ablonczy, Willie Adams, Leona Aglukkaq, Harold Albrecht, Malcolm Allen, Mike Allen, Dean Allison, Rona Ambrose, Rob Anders, David Anderson, Guy Andre, Scott Andrews, Raynell Andreychuk and Charles Angus.
Every day we will feature a different M.P., Senator or Supreme Court Judge on this new website - Parliament Prayer Post. Our hope is that you will bookmark this resource and check it regularly as we pray alphabetically for 422 government leaders.

We have set the dates for this summer's high school camp here at NHOP. We are moving it to the first weekend of the summer, June 28-July 4 which will allow us to celebrate Canada Day in Ottawa. Check out our website for more details.
