Prayer Points

We will be praying for each and every riding during the next 4 weeks.  If there are any special prayer requests that you would like to pass on about your electoral race, please send us a note at info@nhop.ca

1. Pray for a fair, respectful, and truthful campaign by all the parties and their leaders during the election.  It appears there has already been some sifting in the ranks as insulting behaviour has been exposed for what it really is.

2. Lets pray that all Canadians (including Christians) will seek to inform themselves well before they vote on Oct. 14.

3. Pray for the proposed new Supreme Court Justice Thomas Cromwell.
He will sit through an interview panel once the election is over.

4. Pray for our 14 Nazarites as they settle in with us at NHOP this weekend and gear up to spend 3 months with us this Fall.

Greetings,

Well we are into all the excitement of an election!  This means that we really gear up for lots of extra prayer.  Check our Prayer Points in this edition for ways we can resource your intercession for our nation.

Our Nazarites have arrived.  We have welcomed 14 young adults this weekend who will be with us for the next 12 weeks.  They will be interceding for the nation and working alongside us as we host teams from across the country.

Meanwhile they will hear the sounds of ongoing construction in our basement as we work to create an apartment.

 Closing Thoughts:

We asked you to pray for us as we were seeking a cook for the Fall. Jay Blackburn The Lord provided a wonderful surprise in Jay Blackburn (pictured to the right) who is originally from northwest England.  He has just arrived and continues to need your prayers and support as he takes on this critical task.

Representing you in Ottawa.
