We've just finished an amazing week with some incredible teenagers who attended our first CampFire. (Read more about that below.)
Wanted: Cooks for NHOP
 Please pray for us as we search for cooks who could come to work in our kitchen. The Ryans who were planning on continuing as our cooks this Fall have now had to make other plans.
This means we are ready to consider other qualified people who might be available for the Fall, and perhaps beyond to wear this hat!

What an amazing week we have just experienced at NHOP! The Lord sent us the cream of the crop from across the country - all the way from St. John's, NFLD to Edmonton, AB.
They stretched into all the challenges we gave them and came through with flying colours. Campers learned about prayerwalking, inner-city missions, prophetic evangelism, and event outreach, all through an immersion experience as they ministered alongside our team.
 They also hiked the Gatineau Hills, cruised the Ottawa River and visited the Museum of Civilization. (Actually they did all 3 of those things on the same day!)
Of course, they also learned about praying for the nation, and spent many hours in worship and intercession. We were blessed as a leadership team that sometimes they even started without us!
The culmination of the week was their involvement as key volunteers during "The Cry" this past Saturday. Many bystanders thanked them for their great effort.

We will probably run this CampFire again next year, so stay tuned for announcements in 2009.
